It was an exciting day at St. Madeleine Sophie School as we hosted our very first All-School Spelling Bee! 🐝✨
Representatives from 5th through 8th Grade bravely competed in front of the entire school, surrounded by supportive staff, parents, and siblings. The words were no easy feat, but our students rose to the challenge with impressive thoughtfulness, focus, and talent.
Congratulations to Paula in 7th Grade for earning the title of Spelling Bee Champion! 👏
We were also proud to recognize our classroom winners from 1st through 4th Grade during the ceremony. What a wonderful showcase of courage, academic excellence, and school spirit! 💙💛
Thank you Mrs. Connell for taking the lead in this exciting competition!

So proud of our St. Madeleine Sophie Academic Decathlon Team! 💛
Today they met with the St. Therese Guild to share about their upcoming competition on March 7th at Kennedy High School. Students explained the decathlon tests and quizzes, what subjects they have been studying and even hosted a fun mock Super Quiz with the ladies in attendance!
Thank you to the St. Therese Guild for your continued support and encouragement. Please keep our team in your prayers as they prepare to compete!
3rd Grade put their faith into action today with a service field trip to the St. Vincent de Paul food bank. During this Lenten season, our students answered the call to serve by helping pass out food to neighbors in need — offering not just groceries, but smiles and kindness.
Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, they lived out the Dignity of the Human Person and the Option for the Poor and Vulnerable, learning that we are all called to care for one another. 💜
So proud of these young disciples for walking the Lenten journey with generous hearts and helping hands. #FaithInAction #Lent #catholicschools
Today, 1st and 2nd Graders took time after Stations of the Cross to reflect on how they’ve helped others, focusing on Almsgiving as an important pillar of Lent. 💜
We are so proud of this month’s SLE winners! Our students continue to impress us with the many ways they serve, lead, love, and learn!
Our founding principal, Mr. Sherman, stopped by to talk all things Gala — and we have exciting news! He’ll be back and making a special appearance as we celebrate our 20th year as a school community. Swipe to see a special message from Mr. Sherman!
This milestone year deserves a celebration worthy of the legacy that helped build it. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable evening! Save the date: April 25th!
Registration opens this week — stay tuned! ✨
At St. Madeleine Sophie School, our Parent Education Nights are an important part of who we are as a school community.
As partners in forming the hearts, minds, and futures of our students, we’re invited into the shared responsibility of guiding them in today’s digital world. Our upcoming “Raising Culture Carriers in the Digital Age” will be a meaningful conversation about how we support our students in the digital world with faith, wisdom, and intention.
We hope you’ll join us on March 10th at 7pm on Zoom as we come together in partnership, committed to forming young people who lead with faith and positively influence the world around them.
Our school spirit doesn’t take a midwinter break! ❄️🏒
Our Dean of Students and amazing 6th Grade Homeroom teacher Mrs. Shaw bundled up to cheer on some of our sixth graders at their hockey game over break. There’s nothing better than seeing our community show up for one another — on the ice and off. 💙
Way to represent and support each other, Seraphs!
Mark your calendars for March 2nd and March 9th! Students and staff can pay $1 to participate in a non-uniform day! All proceeds will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul 🩷
Wishing everyone a blessed Ash Wednesday! Mrs. Patterson got to attend Mass with some familiar faces @odeahighschool ! We love seeing our alumni ❤️
